Sunday’s perfect weather conditions in London may have seen the men’s world marathon record missed by just 7 seconds, however the 7 Halstead Road Runners who competed in the 35th London Marathon marked the day with fantastic personal achievements.

Hazel Buist knocked a massive 42 minutes from her pervious best time over a 26.2 mile course, finishing in 4:06:37. Nicole Smith managed to take 22 minutes off of her previous time finishing in 4:07:42 whilst making a TV appearance as she crossed the finish line.
