Muddy Conditions In Harwich

Sunday saw the third race in the 53-12 Cross Country League series at Harwich. This popular race in the series with its muddy, wet sticky conditions is a real test of endurance. Halstead fielded strong male and female teams and scored well, with Bradley Doe, Stewart Ellis, Nathan Roulson and Don English scoring for mens team, while Kathryn Bronson and Hazel Buist scored for the ladies team, however it wasn’t enough to stop them slipping to 3rd in the league. There are 3 races to go following the postponement of Hylands Park, as Halstead look to move up the table. (Pictured Bradley Doe leading the way, Photo by Katrina Leaney)
