Axel Voigt continued his excellent form of late setting another 10k pb 2 weeks in a row. Axel was 5 seconds quicker at the Dedham 10k, a hillier course than Langham last week, finishing in a time of 55.41.

Dan Smith did the Ouse Valley Trail Marathon, a point to point race finishing in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. The recent wet weather conditions meant the trails were muddy underfoot along the River Ouse. Dan suffered a bad reaction to a wasp sting mid race but still managed to finish in 5 hours 11 receiving a wooden medal for his efforts.

Also racing off road this weekend were Heidi Hibbett and Andy Owen who took on the Hatfield Forest Half Marathon. Andy finished in 1 hour 34 making light work of the conditions. Heidi, despite not wearing trail shoes, was pleased with her time of 2 hours 2 minutes.
